is Kansas City’s original Science Fiction Convention held annually on Memorial Day Weekend and sponsored by the Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society. ConQuesT celebrates science fiction, fantasy, and horror in all its various forms, with an emphasis on the literary side of these related genres.

The Con also features (in non-virtual years) cosplay, gaming, panel discussions, a juried art show, a dealers room, and a charity auction to benefit About SF, the educational outreach arm of the Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas.
